Tachus DRIFTER

PRIVACY POLICY

Effective September 3, 2026 · Applies to the Drifter iPhone app, the Drifter web app, and the Drifter in-game app for Assetto Corsa (together, "Drifter").

The short version

Drifter is a drift-scoring and community app. We store what you'd expect a social driving app to store — your account, your posts, your scores, your garage — and nothing more. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and we don't use third-party trackers. Your precise GPS routes never leave your phone.

What we collect

Location

The iPhone app uses GPS while you drive to measure your drifts. Your recorded routes and lap traces are stored only on your phone. When a session syncs to your account, we store the summary numbers above and, when you drive at a known venue, which venue it was — never the GPS trace itself.

What's public and what's private

Where your data lives

Drifter runs on Supabase, which hosts our database and media storage. Data is protected by row-level security: the rules above about public and private are enforced by the database itself, not just the apps.

Linking Assetto Corsa

To connect the sim, you generate a short one-time code that expires after 30 minutes. The in-game app uses it once to attach your sim sessions to your account. The sim app sends only session summaries — nothing else from your computer.

What we don't do

Deleting your data

You can delete any post, car, or saved item in the app, and "Delete All Data" on the phone clears everything stored on the device. To delete your account and all cloud data, contact us at the address below and we'll remove it.

Children

Drifter is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
